MICRO TEACHING -SEMESTER 2

  As a part of B. Ed curriculum, our college has conducted micro teaching practical second day 19th of july 2022, for the successful completion 2nd semester.

   For this purpose on 19th of july 2022, I practiced the "Skill of Fluency in Questioning" for the topic 'Unemployment'. The session is conducted with due supervision of Smt. Sheeja. Micro lesson plan and feedback report has been used for the successful completion of the session.  

 

INAUGURATION OF YOUTH RED CROSS AND TRAINING IN FIRST AID & DISASTER MANAGEMENT

  Red Cross Society  formed in consequence of the Geneva Convention of 1864, to care for the sick and wounded in war, secure neutrality of nurses, hospitals, etc., and help relieve suffering caused by pestilence, floods, fires, and other calamities.

 The Youth Red Cross" is a constituent of the Indian Red Cross Society. A group movement organized at the initial stages for students between 18 to 25 years of age. The main purpose of organizing the Youth Red Cross is: Informing youth members and others the roles and responsibilities of the Red Cross and encourage them to contribute. An awareness on the care of their own health and that of others. 

 On 22nd of July 2022, a unit of Youth Red Cross has been inaugurated in our college. The unit was inaugurated by Prof. Mohandas, from IRCS, Kollam. And they also conducted a training program based on the theme first aid and disaster management. Our resource person for first aid training, Dr.Aathura Das. M and for disaster management, Shri. Harshalal Sharma.Finally we were also provided with certificate. 

MICRO TEACHING SKILLS PRACTICE - SEMESTER 1

   Microteaching is a teacher training technique for learning teaching skills.It employs real teaching situation for developing skills and helps to get deeper knowledge regarding the art of teaching.

     As a part of B. Ed curriculum, our college has conducted micro teaching practical on 18th and 19th of july 2022, for the successful completion 1st and 2nd semester respectively. The student-teachers were asked to practice two skills. 

     On 18th of july 2022, I practiced the "Skill of Explaining" for the topic 'Economic Growth'. The session is conducted with due supervision of Smt. Sheeja. Micro lesson plan and feedback report has been used for the successful completion of the session.  

  

 

SPORTS DAY 🏆♟️🏸

  Activities or games, usually involving physical effort or skill. Reasons for engagement in sports include pleasure, competition. Baselious Marthoma Mathews II Training College, Kottarakara, has conducted sports day on 13th of july 2022.

   Students were divided into three houses like Chakravaham, Hindholam and Hamsadhwani each with a team captain. For the proper management of the program, three committees were organised namely official committee, programme committee and refreshment committee, each with 10 members. Remaining students participated in various games. Chess, Carrom and Badminton were the games conducted. Each game has a selection round, semi-final round and final round. 

  The program begins by 10 AM and the event were stated simultaneously. Chess and Carrom were conducted inside the general seminar hall and Badminton was conducted in an indoor stadium nearby. 

  And finally the awaited result, the overall championship was received by team HINDHOLAM.
